Permaculture is Systems Thinking" is the title of the paper on which Andrew Leslie Phillips based his Introduction to Permaculture presentation at the 2010 Upstate NY Permaculture Gathering. We present it here in its entirety for you.
Phillips is the founder of the Hancok Permaculture Center in Hancock, NY - along the Southern Tier - and has studied under Bill Mollison, Geoff Lawton, and Andrew Jones. With this paper he discusses the concept of "nodes" of permaculture, how these connections form the basis for our survival, and how "the model or pattern in nature we mimic" is comparable to mycelium.
