left behind, many students are falling through the cracks of today's
failing public school system. More and more, parents are looking to
alternative methods of educating their children. Homeschooling
networks, Waldorf Schools, Free Schools and unschooling are popping up at an unprecedented rate all over the country.
Despite this, parents in Syracuse have a limited number of options for
alternative education. There are countless organizations willing to
donate time, energy and money to groups who are interested in offering
