Come join Bikes4Peace for our last event of the summer!
Bikes4Peace is teaming up with St. Lucy's to host a bicycle repair
clinic on September 11th from 11-1. This event is part of the Acts of
Kindness (A-OK) week organized by Women Transcending Boundaries. We
will be helping young people and community members fix their bicycles
and helping with a bicycle giveaway.
Bikes4Peace is looking for volunteer bike mechanics (all skill levels!) and community biking
enthusiasts to help at this event. Bikes4 Peace is the Peace
Council's summer project which matches youth with volunteer bikes
mechanics to teach basic bicycle repair and to promote cooperation and
creative problem solving. St. Lucy's is on the Westside, at 425
Gifford St. Bike4Peace will be in the parking lot between their food
pantry and the Huntington Family Center. To RSVP or for more
