The Alchemical Nursery is participating in a reforestation fundraiser during the Spring 2011 season.  For every $15 sponsorship sold, one tree will be planted in a US National Forest in the donor's name, and $10 will stay local to be contributed to costs associated with the Rahma Edible Forest Garden at 3100 South Salina St in Syracuse.

How Your Sponsorship Will Directly Benefit Syracuse

1) The Alchemical Nursery receives $10 of every $15 Reforestation Fundraiser Sponsorship that you purchase.

2) With your sponsorship purchase of a tree for a National Forest, Alchemical will also plant a tree (or spend funds on an appropriate cost within the project budget) in the Edible Forest Snack Garden project at the Rahma Free Health Clinic in Syracuse.

3) The Rahma Clinic is a new free health care provider at 3100 South Salina St.  An important part of health is nutrition and healthy eating, and this Southside neighborhood currently does not have a grocery store providing fresh produce.  The Edible Forest Snack Garden is an innovative solution for bringing healthy food options to Syracuse residents and visitors.
